Del Thompson went to work for OK Rubber Welders in 1952. Then in 1962 he bought the business. In 1978 Klyde took over as manager and co-owner with Harriet Thompson. He bought out Harriet in 1997, so Klyde and his wife Mary Kaye are the present owners. In 1983, Klyde was one of the founders of the NW Tire Factory Group, which has grown to over 200 locations in 33 years. In 2015, Tire Factory merged with Point S Tire and Auto Group, bringing the number of locations in North America and Europe to over 4,000. D EL ’S O .K .
