The Astoria eighth-grade girls basketball is making its annual trip to the state tournament next month, and will be holding a car wash to raise expenses, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Astoria Ford. For the third year in a row, Astoria will be competing in the Oregon Middle School State Basketball Championships, March 4-6 in Bend, Redmond and Sisters. 7HDPVTXDOLI\E\SODFLQJ¿UVWRUVHFRQGLQD qualifying tournament or league.
