Mr. Bingham’s high ideals as to the proprieties in such case will greatly re strict his activities in his own behalf. We would not wish it understood, however, that Mr. Bingham is a re luctant candidate or that he purposes to remain inactive or maintain the ati- tude of one having an honor thrust upon him. On the contrary he is high ly grateful for the honor bestowed in selecting him as the nominee, appreci ates fully the honor and dignity of the office to which he aspires, is quite in earnest in his candidacy and will take such course as may be fit and seemly for one seeking a judicial office. Mr. Bingham has held prominent place in the active practice of the law in this district for the past 36 years, is an able lawyer, has had extended prae- tice in all departments of the law and in all the courts of the State, is tem- M h %s w SOME LITTLE OPPOSITION Chant ea For Rapnbliran* l-anding F.vrry Office (.filin g Stronger Every j l f k S' Day A* Flection Near» Sample ballot» ur<< out, and below are Riven the full liat of cmi 'I u I n I i - i 1« bo voted for-Tue»<lay, Nov. 7, 191(5. While he has held no judicial position it is our opinion that he has heard and satis factorily determined and am ably ad justed more contests in his office than he has tried out in court It is his theory and he has acted upon it very much, if not most, litigation arises from misunderstandings either of the law or the facta and that a calm and clear presentation of the facta and of the law applicable will uaually result in harmonious settlement. He has, therefore, cultivated the judicial state of mind, and is free from bias. The following taken from the Al bany Herald shows as much, as any thing what is thought of Bir.gham and Kelly.
