Baseball League came to a close June 30 with the Tigers far in the lead. Fourteen games completed the senes. The Tigers, being the champions, they are 'now playing a series of three games with a picked team from the other three teams. This picked teani, known as the' Stars, won the first game. - A handsome silver cup was put up for the winning team and will be presented later. 'A K -( :i v ; ) ? ; . . . Another league will be organized some time this month to play something like ten games. Tliis league is not named yet, but teams are already picked for it.
