We had a good turnout, with several newcomers, and we hope they will become regulars. Hank Simms of the Salem shops came through on his old horse, checking equipment. Hank lost his hat at Dufur. Eleven members were present at the August 24 meeting. Nevertheless, it was a good meeting. Leo Ordway is making his annual tour gathering beer bottle caps. Woodley Press Correspondent JO H N DAY CHAPTER No. 13 Walt Greene’s oiling crew, Chuck Hedrick’s patching crew, and Ollie Jones’ shovel crew have come and gone.
