SIMMONS FUNERAL HELD E rn est T. Simmons passed away August 7, 1957 at the Portland Ve teran s Hospital where he has been receiving medical c a re for the p ad sev eral months. His funeral was held at G rants P ass on August 12th with interm ent at the Hawthorne Memorial G ardens. He is surviv ed by his wife, Nora of C rescent City, and several step children.
