“HELLO” GIRLS GO — When the Gold Beach tele phone exchange was converted to dial operation, Marjorie Hen derson was transferred to Coos Bay and Florence Nelson to Myrtle Point. Iva Laird, chief operator, stays as cashier at Gold Beach. It cost the company $59,389 in construction of a new building and conversion to the dial system at the Gold Beach exchange. Not only must Johnny learn to nail and hammer, he must learn the creative possibil ities he possesses. There is one thing in get.¡ng a building plumb and another in getting a good design in the structure. , — Sketch Book — So, while we move into the era of better schools, we must cooperate with the educators of our children. We must give them the necessary’ tools to work with and then some more.
