But it is precisely because of G eorge th a t th e lights of B rookings will not go out In his y ears here, he built an elec trical system w hich has been m odel of d ep endability . . . so m uch so th a t the days of th e long o u ta g e s a re alm ost forgotten. And, as he built his system , G eorge built the respect and a d m ira tion of his fellow -citizens. He w as a w ell liked m em ber of his com m u n ity . T h at s tu a tio n w as not called a d e p re s sion E xperienced o b serv ers a r now freely p redicting th a t 1951 will be the second most p ro sp e r ous year for th»' people of o u r co u n try in all its histo ry .
