It will be cred it to th e B rookings and H a rb o r com m u n ities again as usual we know. No one should m iss it. B esides the F ashion Show, th e re w ill be skits, dancing and som e w o nderful door prizes d o n ated by th e m erc h an ts of th e com m unity. John S e a v e r and son visited here over th e w eek end. T hey expected to visit w ith Mr. and M rs. Wm. S te w a rt but the folks had gone to M edford to visit wih C arl and Billie Mason. Mrs. E rm a Rice and Mrs. H an- S cam Sr., w ere visitors in o u r N ayborhill T hursday. P ercy H an k s w en t by bus to Coos Bay S a tu rd a y to a m eeting of th e K n ig h ts T em ple O rd e r of P acific C om m anding No. 10. P ercy says it rained and th e w ind blew all th e w ay up an d back, but he did enjoy th e m eeting very m uch. S ev eral o th e rs from here drove th e ir c a rs up and som e stayed over for a day o r two. T he Ladies D egree team of C hetco G range 765 put on the 3rd an d 4th deg ree for m em bers of th e O phir G range. T h e re w ere 35 G ra n g ers who w ent from here. Mr. A. W oodruff from F a iry land G ardens of H a rb o r donated orchids for th e ladies of th e d e g ree team s and Mrs. Tom C arson m ade the corsages w hich w ere b eau tifu l. T he O phir G range ladies served a re g u la r h arv est feast, then the rest of the evening w as spent by dancing. A fte r th e m eeting w as closed th e O phir G range ladies served a delicious basket feast th a t e n d ed th e evening by everyone dan c ing.
