Crab Feed Event Of Next Tuesday If you eat crab, and w hat coas tal inhabitant doesn’t you will have the opportunity of appeas ing th at seafood appetite next Tuesday evening at the Grange hall, beginning at 5:30 p. m. The high school class of B ap tist church will serve crab and the “trim m ings” to adults for a dollar and a half per person and all one can eat at one sitting. Children get by for half price — those 10 and under. The young people are working diligently to m ake this supper a success, under direction of Mrs. J. L. Mumix)wer. This project will be the group’s first m oney-raising attem pt, to swell their proceeds which will be l»e donated to the church build ing fund. Bruins Will Meet Elkton In District Tournament, Fri. This Friday. March 7, is the big date for the local Bruins hoop te a m —it is the date of the annual district tournam ent. By virtue of winning both the county league and C urry County tournam ent, the local squad will enter the district playofTs to de cide e n tra n ts to the sta te B hoop tournam ent. Friday night the Bruins will be pitted against Elkton, of th e Douglas county loop. Schools to participate in t h i s tournam ent are Drain, Elkton of Douglas; Powers of Coos and Brookings of Curry.
