Enthusiasm is contagious and in
w andering about town talking to
the m erchants involved and to
the various mem bers of the S a t
ellite Social club, everyone was
found “bubbling” with news and
interest.
Brookings’ grow th can c e rtain
ly be m easured by recalling the
first show five years ago, w ith its
few but splendid entries, com
pared to this year, when the tim e
allotted to each m erchant show
ing has to be planned carefully,
due to the fact there are so many.
Mr. Rose, owner of the new
ladies apparel show which will
soon appear in the K err build
ing, was delighted to have this
opportunity to show Brookings
ladies, some of the lines he is
planning to carry.
