The picking’s slim for vegetarians, but combining a couple of appetizers would still make a great meal. This fresh and delicious Thai food has the classics that most Americans know, like pad Thai, awesome fried rice fl avors, like pineapple, and the fantastic golden pumpkin. The space is small, but more restaurants occupy the area, plus two nearby parks for outdoors lovers. More so than any other restaurant, Sweet Life is THE place Eugeneans think of when they think dessert. The decadent assortment of cakes, pastries and gelatos has something for everyone, and we’re pretty excited about the malted milk cheesecake, a June dessert of the month. The beer is good, but it’ (veg) — no wait, it’ wait, it’ soda — oh heck, we just keep coming back for more. After a meal or two, the feeling will be mutual.
