Don. stage name, “Fluffy,” refers as much to his sunny, enthusiastic disposition as his physical stature, and hilarity of his King Kong appetite or poking with subtle pride at his Mexican-American roots. Even his blue material comes across as clean and family friendly, as when he talks about the antic behavior attendant on his 10-year-old stepson hitting puberty. He also has a wonderfully fi ne-tuned talent for mimicry (his Bill Clinton is spot on) and other vocal effects, which he works seamlessly into his shtick. Iglesias hits McDonald Theatre at 7:30 pm Friday, Jan. 22; $36.50, tickets at http://wkly.ws/5w Waldorf Winter Strings Concert, students perform classical & modern pieces, 7pm, Eugene Waldorf School, 1350 McLean Blvd. FREE. In The Bill Frisell Trio takes on Keaton, Woodring & Morrison — which hits The Shedd Satuday, Jan. 23 — the threesome perform original compositions that accompany a strange array of short fi lms, including the timeless slapstick of Buster Keaton, the Suess- on-acid animation of Seattle’s Jim Woodring as well as Bill Morrison’s reworking of the 1926 fi lm The Mesmerist.
