Troy Michael Wolf is the 3rd grand child for Edward and Betty Wolf of Sandy, and the 4th grandchild for John and Gladys Miller of Boring. Verl and Katie Fleishman returned home Dec. 29th, after spending Christmas In Elm wood, Nebraska. The main reason for their trip was to attend Verl’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Fleischman’s 50th wedding anniversary cele bration. Their anniversary was on Dec. 22, but In order to facilitate travelling members of the family, an Open House "was postponed until Dec. 28. A community building was rented for the “Fleischman Clan” and over 100 people attended the reunion. Also in attendance were Verl’s two sisters, Mrs. Donna Jolley of Florida, and Mrs. Hazel Slothower of Lincoln, Neb. The Fleishmans moved to Oregon from Nebraska 11 years ago, and although they knew many people from Neb raska lived in Oregon, they were somewhat amazed with how many people they met on the train returning to Neb. for the holidays. It was an interest ing train ride, because even those returning Nebraskans they didn’t previously know “usually knew some we did.” Jerry and Nancy (Lamb) Ruhl with their two children: Kimberly 4 and Brad 2, live in Rockwood, although they are building a new home between Kelso and Orient. Wayne and Dorothy Scott celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on Jan. 9. Mrs. Scott’s sister, Mrs. Edna Ki ger, phoned her congratulations from Corvallis, and her niece and husband, Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Britton, of Milwaukie, spent the day with the Scotts.
