In both cases, the court held 7-1 that the requirements run contrary to the Constitutional privilege against self-Inc rim - ination. In referring to both cases, we are also including the fo r c e d registration o f gamblers. Chief Justice Earl Warren was the only member of the court to vote in opposition of the decision rendered by the other seven members.
