Supreme Court Rules On Firearms
Gun owners across the land
are no doubt happy o v e r
the decision rendered by the
United States Supreme Court
to the effect that the forced
registration of firearm s vio­
lates the Constitution; they also
held that the government can
not force individuals to register
firearm s that are'in their pos­
session.
In both cases, the court held
7-1 that the requirements run
contrary to the Constitutional
privilege against self-Inc rim -
ination.
In referring to both
cases, we are also including
the fo r c e d registration o f
gamblers.
Chief Justice Earl Warren
was the only member of the
court to vote in opposition of
the decision rendered by the
other seven members. In do­
ing so, he supported Jofmson
and the chief executive’ s per­
sonal opinion relative to the
anti-firearm s b ill Introduced
bv Mr.Johnson’ sbuddy-Senator
Dodd, the antl-firearm s crack­
pot from the state of Connect­
icut, said b ill also being backed
by the carbon copy of his big
brother-Robert Kennedy, but a
darned poor copy or reproduc­
tion of J.F.K. at that.

It Is high time, that such

from public office.
During the past many years,

ed from dealing in politics in
any manner what-so-ever, but

happen, and it usually does;

rule. So, may I please suggest
that you refrain next November
from casting your vote fo r any
anti-firearm s crank that either
Is holding public office, o r seek­
ing to elected to one. Every

day. . .a ll gangland, all the
Communists of this country w ill
be voting to retain in office and
