Summer YCC Jobs Available at Oregon Caves Oregon Caves National Monument and Preserve is announcing four (4) positions in the Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) program this summer. The YCC is a summer employment program for young men and women, ages 15 through 18, who work and learn together by participating in conservation work on public lands. Successful candidates will earn $10.75 per hour (Oregon minimum wage). No housing is available. All participants must bring a lunch and be able to provide their own transportation to and from the Monument. However, there are many people that commute who you could ride with.Work schedule begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. each day, five days per week, with the exceptions of federal holidays, and possibly, weekends. This eight (8) week job opportunity is offered between the dates of July 2, – August 24, 2018. Applicants must be in good physical condition. This work can be challenging, yet adventurous, as well as strenuous, hot, dirty and sweaty.
