Through the Illinois Valley Wellness Resources, Pat Jenkins, RN, MSN will provide for special needs at low cost. Pat is a Board Certified Geriatric Nurse, licensed and insured with more than 35 years experience in her field. She offers a Home Safety Evaluation; an onsite survey of your physical living situation with suggestions to improve for safety and ease of mobility in order to remain in your own home. A checklist will be provided to each individual or their family for follow-up. Pat will also assist with medication set-up done for one week at a time. Medications will be organized and set-up to meet physician orders. Taking medications on a timely basis will be the responsibility of the individual. One of the unwanted visitors was still on the scene at 10:22 a.m. when employees found him in a light-blue Chevy Suburban at the back of the property. There were garbage bags, beer cans and tires scattered all around. The trespasser stated that he had permission to enter the facility through a hole in the fence, but this was determined to be untrue. He replaced property that he had removed and will face charges of second- degree theft and trespassing. *A deputy made contact with several individuals on Eight Dollar Road from 12:42 and 3 p.m. One camper was warned for residing in that area. *A motorist in a white Honda was warned for failure to use a seatbelt at 3:05 p.m. on Redwood Hwy. at Holton Creek Road. *Two people in a red Chevy Grand Caravan were causing a disturbance at 4:09 p.m. The guy was driving erratically, so they pulled over to continue their fight at 222 W. Lister Street by an attorney’s office. Department of Human Services was notified because there were children in the van. He was then cited for driving on a suspended license, failure to carry insurance and his driver’s license was seized. *A traveler stopped to use a restroom in Kerby, but he left his car door open, which caught the attention of a deputy from JCSO at 3:32 p.m. *A white Toyota with red spray paint was pulled over on Eight Dollar Road at 4:09 p.m. The driver provided paperwork showing that he had recently purchased the vehicle in California. *At 4:35 p.m. a motorist at Little Falls Trailhead Campground was warned because there was no front license plate on his blue Jeep. *The motorist in a red Toyota pickup truck was warned for improper display and failure to carry insurance at 4:44 p.m. on Eight Dollar Road.
