David, 43, was cited on a charge of driving under the influence of an intoxicant (DUII) warned for speeding, fail- ure to maintain a lane; and then released following a traffic stop on Redwood Hwy. near Sixth Street in Kerby at 1:56 a.m. *An elderly woman appeared to be wandering and attempting to remove her clothing on Caves Hwy. near milepost two at 1:01 p.m. Her care-givers had been napping when she left the house. *Ryan Eugene War- gin, 23, was arrested and lodged in Josephine County Jail on a stalking order violation charge. *In the 300 block of Little Grayback Road, a man, who had taken a large quantity of “all kinds of pills” in an attempt to harm himself and then left his house wearing only a robe and slippers, was found unconscious nearby. He was taken to Three Rivers Community Hospi- tal (TRCH) by American Medical Response. *A driver was warned for failure to maintain a lane and failure to carry and present an ID during a traffic stop on Redwood Hwy. near milepost 17 at 6:31 p.m. *Visitors left unat- tended in a business in Kerby were suspected of having stolen several items, said a woman at 11:45 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26 *Kurtis Kurn Korff, 37, was cited on a charge of driving with a sus- pended license during a traffic stop in the 400 block of River Street at 12:23 p.m. *A driver was warned for failure to obey a traffic control device (FTO/TCD) and having an obscured license plate on W. Lister Street and Redwood Hwy. at 12:52 a.m. *A highly intoxicated man was contacted in the 100 block of S. Redwood Hwy. at 1:05 a.m. He found a place to stay for the night. *A driver was warned for a white light to the rear of the vehicle in the 300 block of W. Lister Street at 1:11 a.m. *Intoxicated people having an altercation at 2:20 a.m., in the 100 block of Patton Bar Drive, broke a sliding glass door and a window, bloodying them- selves. No one required medical assistance, and the incident was deemed civil in nature. *In the 100 block of S. Kerby Avenue, a woman said her car had been en- tered during the night and a box of items destined for Goodwill stolen. *At 11:32 a.m. a woman said her son had received a threatening let- ter in the mail. *Because the man who was buying her pickup truck had not reregistered it or made payments for an entire year, a woman wanted the vehicle re- ported stolen. She was ad- vised to contact an attor- ney. *A woman in the 200 block of Pinewood Way said she had been receiv- ing prank phone calls. The young pranksters responsi- ble were warned about telephonic harassment. *A prowler was re- ported in the 600 block of Frederick Court at 5:36 p.m. Deputies checked the area and found evidence that someone had unlocked the front gate. *A boy, 14, was as- saulted on a school bus by another student, injuring his mouth and cheek, it was reported. The case was open pending investiga- tion. *A stop sign was found pushed over at the intersection of Thompson Creek and Forest Creek roads at 9:38 p.m. The county public works de- partment was advised. *In the 200 block of W. Lister Street an unat- tended vehicle was par- tially blocking the road at 9:33 p.m. Shortly thereaf- ter, some people put fuel in the vehicle and left. Tuesday, Jan. 27 *Someone left a ram- bling message on her an- swering machine about witnessing a murder and living with a psycho, a woman said at 9:03 a.m. Investigation revealed the caller was an emotionally disturbed person. The situation was unfounded as a crime. *A man called from the 200 block of S. Red- wood Hwy. to say that someone was yelling at him and attempting to pro- voke a fight at 11:39 a.m. *A suspicious, unoc- cupied vehicle was re- ported in the 5000 block of Caves Hwy at 12:59 p.m. *An abandoned car which had been parked in the same place near the green bridge on Eight Dol- lar Mt. Road for four weeks was swept into the river by rising water. *Tamera Dawn Davis, 22, was cited on a charge of third-degree theft and released following an inci- dent at Shop Smart. *Someone smeared about a quart of blood on the side of the Siskiyou Community Health Center Clinic, a woman said at 10:57 a.m. *His girlfriend’s ex- boyfriend was making threats to beat him up, a man in the 24000 block of Redwood Hwy. said. *In the 5000 block of Lakeshore Drive, a woman said her home had been burglarized during the night while she slept in another structure nearby. Approximately $60 was taken from her purse, she reported. *A reported shoplift- ing in the 200 block of W. Watkins Street was inves- tigated at 7:09 p.m. *A “repo man” was going about his work in the 18000 block of Redwood Hwy. at 7:46 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28 *All was secure after an alarm sounded at a resi- dence in the 4000 block of Thompson Creek Road at 3:09 a.m. *A man in the 18000 block of Redwood Hwy. reported his pickup truck stolen at 3:22 a.m. It was determined that the vehicle had been repossessed the night before. *A driver was warned for speeding on Redwood Hwy. at milepost 26 at 8:34 a.m. *An emotionally dis- turbed woman was admit- ted to TRCH on a volun- tary mental hold. *Extra patrol was re- quested in the 700 block of Waldo Road at 9:55 a.m. *No reason was found for an intruder alarm at the I.V. Fire District Holland Loop Station at 12:14 p.m. *In the 4000 block of Holland Loop a man said another man flipped him off and yelled at him as he drove past at 1:13 p.m. *While nothing was taken this time, a man in the 200 block of Shadow- brook Drive reported that someone had broken into his travel trailer. It is a continuing problem, and the information was logged. *A white car, which appeared to have been in an accident, was gone when a deputy responded to the scene on Redwood Hwy. at Eight Dollar Mt. Road at 3:51 p.m. *The owner of a va- cant commercial property in the 8000 block of Caves Hwy. said she found unau- thorized people had been living there and causing Page 11 damage. *A driver was warned for a faulty headlight dur- ing a traffic stop on Caves Hwy. at Laurel Road at 8:04 p.m. *A man against whom she has a no-contact order verbally assailed a woman at her place of work where all the other employees could hear, it was reported. A deputy found no evi- dence of a crime. *Jeremy D Dutton, 21, was arrested and lodged in Josephine County Jail on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. Thursday, Jan. 29 *One vehicle struck another, causing the sec- ond to strike a utility pole on Redwood Hwy. at Caves Hwy. at 7:07 a.m. OSP was advised. *A cu stomer o f Speedy Mart said he had witnessed a hit-and-run accident.
