New Babies! Nehayla Jade Cordova By Tenaya, Sarah and Jesse We would like to announce the birth of our daughter, Nehayla Jade Cordova, on Sept. 11, 2011, at 2:31 a.m. She weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces and was 19 inches long. Proud parents are Sarah Butler and Jesse Cordova, and proud big sister is Tenaya Cordova. Thanks for all the love and support. LIHEAP ready to help low-income families with cost of heating home What is LIHEAP? • • Residence location LIHEAP (Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program) is a federally funded program that helps low- income households with their home energy bills. LIHEAP can help you stay warm in the winter. By doing so, you can reduce the risk of health and safety problems (illness, fire or eviction). Application Tribal identification card or CIB Social Security cards for all persons living in your household Recent copies of utility bills (the indi vidual named on the utility bill must be included in the household composition) Final utility termination notice (if you’ve received a shut-off notice from your energy company) The applicant or a child residing in the household must be an enrolled Siletz Tribal member. 6 • Siletz News • What information do I need to apply?
