The significant change includes new verification options that can reduce the involvement of the Enrollment Department in the signature verification process. The new verification process provides Tribal members the opportunity to have their signature notarized or provide a copy of current identification with name, address and signature to verify the signature card. If neither of those options is available, the Enrollment Department still will assist in verifying signatures with documentation on file. The new signature cards will be mailed to all Tribal members age 18 and older in mid-September. With the election only five months away, it is very important that the new signature card be returned as soon as possible. 272 SE Highway 101, Depoe Bay, OR 97341 541-765-4441 The revised Election Ordinance is available online at ctsi.nsn.us; select Government Operations then Tribal Ordinances.
