Caponera worked the Chicago comedy club circuit for the first two years of his career and then took his act on the road. He developed it over a 17-year career of per forming for audiences all over the world. Caponera is considered a comic’s comic, a true professional offering a mix of material from topical to impressions to characterizations to stories and one-liners. Michael Paskevich of the Las Vegas Review-Journal writes: “Unafraid of let ting a room grow quiet, Caponera sets his own intentionally erratic pace, pausing to perfection to complement his oddly timed but rewarding comic insights. Snow later was hired by Roseanne to write standup and special projects like the MTV Music Awards and the mono logue and sketches when Roseanne hosted Saturday Night Live. This led to three John Caponera seasons as a story editor on Roseanne, including a guest appearance. Parker earned her fame on the Emmy- nominated NBC show Last Comic Stand ing. She impressed the judges when she came out in her rough tomboy attire and asked, “Have you ever been mistaken for a lesbian?” Judge Buddy Hackett said to Parker, “You are a star!” Bom and raised in Muskego, Wis., Parker has audiences doubling over with laughter when she describes how hard it is for a backwoods girl to be feminine - “Yeah, I played with Barbie. I strung her from a willow tree and shot at her with a BB gun.” Show time is 8 p.m. for this age-21- and-older event. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. with a no-host bar. Tickets are $15.
