CHINOOKWINDS Chuck Negron Joins Blood Sweat & Tears in Concert Blood, Sweat & Tears with special guest Chuck Negron will perform live in concert Oct. 12-13. Negron, formerly of Three Dog Night, will sing with the band that fused rock, blues and pop music together to create hit songs like Spinning Wheel, You've Made Me So Very Happy and / Can t Quit Her. Through the years, the band Blood, Sweat & Tears has held true to its fu sion of jazz, rock and pop music that it started in the late '60s. Today the band is touring the country, wowing audiences with its connection to the ’60s and '70s and knowing how to truly entertain an audience. 2007 marks the first year of touring for the band in more than a decade. Touring with Blood. Sweat & Tears is special guest Chuck Negron, formerly of Three Dog Night. In 1977, Three Dog Night decided to quit touring to gether. Negron gave the group its first million-selling record and its last, with '777 The World Ends. While Negron was with Three Dog Night, the band had 18 consecutive top 20 hits and four No. I hits with five top-10 albums and 1 I in the top 20. “In 1994. I studied voice for the first time in my life! I wanted to learn and be better than I had ever been. I discovered a new and wonderful passion for life and my music,” said Negron. Dumbshine, Tyee and Nen-nen Cuetec Cues Tour Championship Brings Renowned Players to Oregon Allison Fisher, Karen Corr, Jenni fer Barretta and more than 45 of the world’s top female billiards players are scheduled to appear in Lincoln City when the ladies of the Women’s Pro fessional Billiards Association (WPBA) compete in the Cuetec Cues Tour Championship at Chinook Winds on Nov. 7-11. The tension will be high and the playing will be tough. But for diehard fans, recent admirers and those who are just curious, this is an event that can't be missed. This opportunity gives those who watch the matches on ESPN the chance to see these ladies of the felt live and in person. Allison Fisher beat out 2005 cham pion Ga-Young Kim to earn the 2006 National Title in Women’s Billiards on Nov. 12, 2006. Kim missed her shot at a repeat when she narrowly missed the 8 ball and gave Fisher the opportunity for the win. Fisher took her time and made both balls to become the 2006 Cuetec Cues National 9-Ball Champion. The emotional final was almost too much for both players as tears came from both of them.
