CHINOOK WINDS CASINO RESORT Creedence Clearwater Revisi ted Plays True Rock ‘n’ Roll Performing in the showroom at Chinook Winds on Feb. 2-3 will be Creedence Clearwater Revisited. The band, which includes original Creedence Clearwater Revival members Stu Cook and Doug “Cosmo” Clifford, will sing audience favorites such as Born on the Bayou, Lodi, Who Wil! Stop the Rain, Down on the Corner, The Midnight Special, and so many more. Cook and Clifford may not have intended it. but their band Creedence Clearwater Revisited has taken on a startling life of its own. The Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame rhythm section (bass and drums, re spectively) from the legendary group Creedence Clearwater Revival launched the Creedence Clearwater Revisited project in 1995 to once again perform live Creedence Clearwater Revival hits - touchstones of a genera tion. They now perform up to 100 shows a year. Showtime is 8 p.m. Tickets range from $25 to $35. Guests have a chance to win $50 for winning one quarter, $ 1 (X) for two quar ters, $ 1 .(XX) for three quarters, and, finally, $25,000 if all four quarters are correct. February 2007 Laughter is Sweet at Comedy on the Coast February is for sweethearts and laughter when the comedic talents of Max Alexander. Del Van Dyke, and Avi Lieberman hit the stage at Comedy on the Coast on Feb. 9-10. As one of only six living comics to have performed on both Leno’s and Carson's late-night show. Max Alexander's humor is always a big hit wherever he performs. His funny and clean insights into everyday life have made him a favorite opening act for such stars as Frank Sinatra, Julio Iglesias, and Tom Jones. Alexander can be seen in such films as Man on the Moon, Punchline, and Roxanne, and on television in The Practice, Matlock, My Wife and Kids, and Doogie Howser, M.D. Del Van Dyke emerged from the San Francisco comedy scene in the '80s and quickly became a fixture on the nightclub circuit. The winner of several major comedy competitions, he has headlined across the United States, appeared on network and cable television, performed with musical acts such as The Pointer Sis ters and The Neville Brothers, and en tertained our Armed Forces overseas. Avi Lieberman’s quirky style has made him a favorite in comedy clubs from Los Angeles to New York. He was Max Alexander born in Israel, raised in Texas, attended college in New York, and now lives in Los Angeles. His style is a winning combination of life experiences and topical issues told through a varied blend of characters and voices with worldwide expertise. Lieberman has performed standup comedy on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend and Make Me Laugh, as well as NBC’s Friday Kight! His acting cred its include Dave’s World (CBS), Bos ton Common (NBC), and Andy town U.S.A. (Comedy Central). Showtime is 8 p.m. for this age-21- and-over event.
