Doctors thought I wouldn’t walk, sent me home from the hospital with pneumo nia because there wasn’t anything else they could do. Said that I shouldn’t have survived the heart and sternum surgeries and might not make it this time. When doctors gave up, my parents didn’t. I will always believe in prayer. I am very thankful I have Christian parents. Again, I thank you for your prayers, those who visited me in Corvallis, and those who sent me postcards, especially from the elders. I am thankful and will always appre ciate a prayer. With respect, William Stanley Strong 2002. I also served on the Budget Com mittee for one year.
