Right: Future Head Start student Coming Soon to a Classroom Near You ... the Head Start Raffle Starting the first week of April and running until the first week of May, Head Start parents and staff from all sites will be selling raffle tickets for a variety of wonderful items. Tickets will be $1 each or six for $5. Watch for fliers for a com plete list of items and help support your Siletz Tribal Head Start. Above: Kaitlyn takes a break at lunch with her family. Head Start Update Siletz Tribal Head Start is getting ready to accept applications for the up coming school year of 2005-2006. Family service workers Bonnie Crawford from Siletz, Frances Gates of Portland, Sharmon Cook of Salem, and Jack Shadwick, along with other Head Start staff, will be out and about with ap plications and some new recruitment ma terials. Look for our new application in the May issue of Siletz News. The Head Start Policy Council met March 19 in Siletz and will meet again April 16 in Corvallis. Lori Jay-Linstrom is gearing up for Transition and will start the Transition meetings for families that will be going into kindergarten next year. The first Transition meeting will be in Portland on April 25 at the Brentwood Darlington Community Center.
