CHINOOK WINDS CASINO RESORT Hear the Roar of Laughter at Comedy on the Coast It’s said that March comes in like a lamb, but at Comedy on the Coast at Chinook Winds Casino Resort, the audience’s laughter will roar like a lion. Comedians scheduled for Comedy on the Coast on March 11-12 are Dave Anderson, John DiResta, and J.P. Linde. Anderson has accomplished some thing few comedians can attest to - he’s funny without being offensive. He began his career at a weekly comedy showcase in Portland, Ore. Soon he was performing at comedy clubs and col leges across the country. In 1986, he was asked to appear on the CBS Morning Show. It was enough to convince a producer at rival NBC that Anderson was funny. T\vo weeks later, he was hired as a staff comedy writer for NBC’s comedy game show Wordplay. Soon he was busy appearing on such television shows as An Evening At The Improv, Fox’s Comedy Express, and VH-l’s Stand-up Spotlight. He cur rently is a contributing writer for The Tonight Show With Jay Leno and co host of the “Show” on 1190 KEX. Since being named New York’s fun niest cop (a title he won in 1994), DiResta has had two television shows (Trash To Cash, DiResta) and can be seen in How To Lose A Guy is 10 Days and Miss Congeniality. He appeared MARCH Sun with Robert DeNiro in 15 Minutes and will return to the big screen in Miss Congeniality Two. DiResta’s television appearances include The Tonight Show With Jay Leno and Politically Incorrect, as well as being a guest on the infamous Howard Stern Show. A regular at Harvey’s Comedy Club in Portland, Linde has been seen on Showtime’s Comedy Club Network and is half of the team that created Dumped And Divorced, a two-man show sold out for several weeks. Comedy on the Coast begins at 8 p.m.; doors open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 for this age 21 and over show. Bingo Hot Line 1-888-CHINOOK Mon March 27 -1 faster Special Win additi >nal money!
