Celebrate July Fourth Weekend with Three Days of Headline Comedians Activities during Independence Day weekend should be full of three things ... fun, frolic and laughter. Chinook Winds has the laughter covered with three comedians - John DiResta, Kivi Rogers, and David Anderson. Since being named New York’s Funniest Cop in 1994, DiResta has had two television shows (Trash to Cash, DiResta) and can be seen in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and Miss Congeniality. He appeared with Robert DeNiro in 75 Minutes and returns to the big screen in Miss Congeniality Two. His television appearances include The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Politically Incorrect, plus being a guest on the infamous Howard Stern Show. Friends and relatives say Rogers always was gifted with quick wit, a thousand voices, and a knack for mischief. He’s been showcased at the HBO Aspen Comedy Festival and appeared in the films The Amati Girls, What 1 Did For Love, and Romey And Michelle’s High School Reunion. He’s also guest-starred on several TV series. More recently, he’s appeared on NBC’s No. 1 late-night pro gram, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Anderson has accomplished some thing few comedians can claim - he’s funny without being offensive. His career began at a weekly comedy showcase in Portland, Ore. In 1986, he was asked to appear on the CBS Morning Show. This convinced a producer at rival NBC that he was funny. Two weeks later, he was hired as a staff comedy writer for NBC’s comedy game show Wordplay. Soon, he was busy appearing on An Evening at the Improv, Fox’s Comedy Express, and VH-l’s Stand-up Spotlight. Anderson currently is a contributing writer for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and co-host of the Show on KEX. Comedy on the Coast begins at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. for this age 21 and older event. A no-host bar will be available. Tickets are $12. PASSAGES Happy 3rd Birth day, Jaylee Rilatos!
