Fantasy of Trees, Angels Ball Return Special Events Entertainment Each year, Angels Anonymous, a local non-profit charitable foundation, holds The Fantasy of Trees and The Song of the Angels Holiday Ball, its major fund-raiser, at Chinook Winds Casino. This is the fifth year for this event, which is co-sponsored by the casino. This year, approximately 30 trees will be decorated and sponsored by local businesses and individuals who not only spend hours decorating the trees, but also several hundred dollars in decorations as well. In past years, the tree themes have included Betty Boop, firemen, Harry Potter, chocolates, peacocks, roses, ballerinas, fishing, old- fashioned Christmas, hand-carved ornaments, and many splendidly trimmed in specific colors. Each year, there’s a wide variety in the themes, sizes, and prices that they bring. The decorating of the Christmas trees begins Dec. 3 at noon. Sponsors have until the following noon to finish their trees and ready them for viewing.
