RESTORATION CELEBRATION Gladys Bolton turns her whip woman duties over to Shirley Ben Walker prior to the Restoration Pow-Wow. Evan Tyee Moody Jurado has his coming out ceremony and honor dance. He’s joined by his mom, Rosalie Jurado, great-grandmothers Cynthia Washington Lozano and Betty Whitehead, uncle Saul Jurado, and other family members. « ■ ■ Above: Delores Pigsley and Rosemary Landis wrap former Gov. Vic Atiyeh in a new treaty blanket as a thank you for participating in the Restoration Celebration. Students participate in a friendship dance as Siletz Valley School continues the tradition of the mini pow-wow, held Nov. 14. Students from Toledo and Newport middle schools joined the celebration.
