On Oct. 24-25, the Operation Redneck tour featuring John Anderson, Confederate Railroad, and David Ball will perform at Chinook Winds Casino. Country music fans know John Anderson as true to real country music and his instantly recognizable baritone voice sets him apart from many other country singers. His newest album, Mississippi Rainstorm, was released in July. For more than 20 years, Anderson has been OCTOBER Sun^^^ & putting out hits and, no, he’s not about to stop anytime soon. Confederate Railroad’s high- energy style and raucous sense of humor has earned a lot of favorable comparisons to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Williams Jr., and Charlie Daniels, but its energetic and sometimes sentimental music has carved out a spot in country music all its own. After a decade of backing up greats like David Allan Coe and Johnny Paycheck, CRR had its first big hits in 1992 with Jesus and Mama and Queen of Memphis. Since then, hits like When You Leave That Way You Can Never Go Back, Daddy Never Was The Cadillac Kind, and Trashy Women have continued to make the group’s live shows exactly what their 1 Tue Oc 26,2003 Mana jer’s Special 500s will go! $■ 0 Buy-in 7 6 1 p.m. Matinee 1 p.m. Matinee 1 p.m. Matinee 14 13 12 1 p.m. Matinee 1 p.m. Matinee 20 19 1 p.m. Matinee 21 1 p.m. Matinee 28 27 26 1 p.m. Manager’s 1 p.m. Matinee Special 5:30 p.m. Evening 1 p.m. Matinee Point Redemption 8 1 p.m. Matinee 6 p.m. Evening 9 1 p.m. Matinee 15 1 p.m. Matinee 6 p.m. Evening Free Square 6 p.m. 16 1 p.m. Matinee Siletz News 22 1 p.m. Matinee 23 1 p.m. Matinee 29 1 p.m. Matinee 6 p.m. Evening Free Square 1 p.m. 30 1 p.m. Matinee □ October 2003 Michael One Man Becomes Three Rock ‘n’ Roll Legends The Great Pretender Show starring Michael & Blue Suede will fool Sat Fri everyone’s ears and eyes at Chinook 4 3 Winds Casino on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.
