NOTICES Aug. 1,2002 - Distribution $56,603.80 Recipients of the latest grants from the Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund Tribe Gives $56,603 to Community The Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund made another round of distributions on Aug. 1 at the Siletz Tribal administration building. Twenty-three organizations shared $56,603.80 in contributions. The seven member advisory board will distribute a total of $349,000 by the end of 2002. Eligibility for funds is limited to two categories: • Entities and activities located in the Siletz Tribe’s 11-county service area (Lincoln, Tillamook, Linn, Lane, Benton, Polk, Yamhill, Marion, Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas counties) • Native American entities and activities located anywhere in the United States * Prior to establishing the Advisory Board in 2001, the Siletz Tribe distributed a percentage of gaming revenues through an ad-hoc committee that awarded $134,020 to various organizations throughout Oregon. The next deadline for submitting applications is Sept. 16, 2002.
