Happy, Happy Birthday to Maggie. It’s hard to believe you’re 17. Love you lots, have a great one. Ali and Darcy Lisa, I don’t know what to say ... except thirty! Love you so much, Ali My Little Girl by her mother Thirty years ago, I found myself in a family way. The thought of me having a child was so scary; no, this was not going to happen. I loved my husband. We didn’t need to have anything or anyone else in our lives. We felt we lived in poverty. We were a young married couple in the military. Even when the day came, I wouldn’t let my husband bring the suitcase into the hospital. I decided I wasn’t having this baby yet. But - one of those life lessons - God does what he wants to do when he wants to do it. That little stranger was bom. Should I look at it? No, if I don’t even look at it, it wouldn’t be real. Then it cried. What should I do, look at it? No, I can’t, but I have to. It sounded so pitiful. I looked. And you guessed it - I fell in love instantly. She was so beautiful and full of life. To make a long story short - at least a little shorter — this beautiful baby girl is the light of my life. She brings everyone she knows joy; she handles life’s challenges head on; she wants more out of life And now that she is a mom too, she has passed on all of her talents to her two boys. What a wonderful person! I have been so blessed with such a child. Most of you know her in a professional way, but speaking as her mother, she has a wonderful soft side and is a very caring person. I want the best for her and love her so much, if you couldn’t tell. I just want to wish her a happy birthday and let the world know how much I love her and thank God every day for bringing this person into my life 30 years ago. We are connected forever. I love you, Elizabeth Marie (Lisa) Norton. Love, Mom (Margo) To My Other Little Princess by her mother You are just as special as your sister. You also came into this world at the same time, just a couple of years later. When I thought that life couldn’t get any better, you brightened my life even more. You are my sunshine. You keep me on my toes and make life worth living. Like your sister, we are connected forever. Your sister is now an adult and soon enough, you will be there too. Happy 17th Birthday, Maggie. My advice to you, sweetheart - be young forever. But before you go out into the new world on your own, remember that I will always be there for you, to listen, to love, to cry, to hold you whenever you need it. I love you Margaret Mary (Maggie) Norton. Love, Mom (Margo) “Flea,” upon the circumstances, I would like to give you my heart-filled Congratulations to Dan and Dolly apologies.
