Hot‘Hot*Hot* Cinco de Mayo Cash Drawing Chinook Winds is giving away more than $15,000 in cash and prizes in the “Hot*Hot*Hot” Cinco de Mayo drawings on May 5 and 6. On both days, 12 names will be drawn, two every hour beginning at noon, with the final contestants drawn at 5 p.m. Of the 12 hourly winners drawn each day, three will receive $300, three will receive $200, and six will receive $500 and become finalists for the grand prize. On May 6 at 5:30 p.m., the 12 lucky finalists each will choose a key. One of the 12 keys will open a barrel that holds $500 in gift certificates for the Factory Stores @ Lincoln City, one key will open a barrel that contains a certificate for a $1,000 Bose system, and one key will open the cash box containing $10,000! On May 5, “Quetzalcoatl,” an authentic Mexican folklore ballet troupe, will perform in the Bingo hall and in the Rogue River Restaurant and Lounge. Catch their performance at 2 p.m. in the Bingo Hall and 4 p.m. in the restaurant. Los Lobos brings the hot, East L. A. La Bamba sound to Chinook Winds in the showroom on May 4 and 5, beginning at 8 p.m. both nights. Tickets range from $15 to $25, depending on seat location. Terrific Food Authentic Mexican food will be available in the buffet on May 5 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for $6.95. The Rogue River Restaurant and Lounge will offer a combination Mexican platter for $10.95 on May 4-6 between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. Margaritas will be half-price in the lounge. Join the celebration! Oregon Coast Classic Cribbage Tournament The Oregon Coast Classic Cribbage Tournament has become a twice annual event, with tournaments in the spring and winter. Players are from the Oregon Coast area. Registration is available at the door, is open to the public, and begins one hour before tournament play. The tournament will be held in the convention center. A sign-up booth will be located in the hall outside the convention center. Tournament play will take place from 2-11 p.m. on May 11, 9a.m.-l p.m. on May 12, and 7:30 a.m.- 6 p.m. on May 13. This event is for individuals age 21 and over. Here’s a chance to win something really special for yourself or that special “Mom.” On May 13, Chinook Winds will hold a drawing for a $1,000 Ultra Diamond and Gold Pendant and $500 in Factory Stores @ Lincoln City gift certificates. The Mother’s Day drawing is a one- day event. One part of two-part tickets will be given to adult women actively gaming on the casino floor during random sweeps from 12:30-3: 30 p.m. The second part of the two-part ticket will be placed in the contest barrel for drawings. At 4 p.m., two winners will be selected. The winners will be announced by number, so it’s important that participants keep their ticket stub. Oregon Indian Week - Indian Motorcycle Giveaway * Chinook Winds is giving away a Chief model 2000 Indian Motorcycle on May 27 as part of Oregon Indian Week. On May 26 and 27, two names will be drawn every hour beginning at noon, with the final contestants drawn at 5 p.m. Of the 12 hourly winners drawn each day, three will receive $300, three will receive $200, and six will receive $500 and be eligible for the grand prize.
