STEELE-KELLY Fairview (Special). — Harvey Kelly, son of Mr and Mrs. Fred Kelly of Fairview, and Miss Jean ne Steele, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Steele of Dorena. were married Tuesday. July 12. Harvey is a graduate of the Cottage Grove high school and is employed at the Irish-McBroom market. The couple will make their home in Cottage Grove. LAKE REUNION HELD. The eighth annual Lake reunion was held Sunday. July' 17, at the Eugene-Springfield auto park. A basket lunch was served at noon, after which the regular business meeting was presided over by A. C. Lake of Noti, president. Short talks were given by Bert Myers, vice president and Mrs. Aus Jones of Reedsport. Philip Lake was elected secre tary and treasurer, filling the vacancy of Henry M. Lake, who passed away June 5, 1938. The meeting place for the re union was changed to Skinners Butte park. Eugene. Those present were A. C. Lake. Noti; Mrs. Mary Cole, Miss Opal Myers and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Guiley. all of Eugene: Mr. and Mrs. Chas. McDonald and three children, Marcóla; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Miller of Black Butte; Mr. and Mrs. Bert Myers and sons Loren and Delbert, Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Myers and sons Norman and Lloyd, Mrs. Myrtle Lake and son Philip, all of Cottage Grove; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Jenkins and daughter of Colton; Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Castle and two children of Lorane; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kirk and three children of Spring field, and Leonard. Leo and Char lotte Layng of Troutdale. Guests were Miss Iola Hough ton and Orest Houghton of Eu gene; Miss Geraldine Seiling of Yoncalla and Mr. and Mrs. Aus Jones of Reedsport. On Friday evening. July 15, the Rebekah lodge held their regular meeting and installation of offi cers with the I.O.O.F. lodge. In stalling officers were D.D.G.M. Curtis Hanson and D.D.P. Myrtle Kent, assisted by D.D.G.M. Chas. McKibben and Mearl McKibben. Elective officers installed were: Mrs. Len Culver. N.G.; Mrs. Carl Plunkett. V.G.; Mrs. Chas. Con ner. secretary; Mrs. Eva Hatch, treasurer. Appointive officers were Mrs. George Currin, RJS.N. G.: Mrs. Al Hamloth. L.S.N.G.; Mrs. Chas. McKibben. RS.V.G.; Mrs. John Sanders, L.SV.G.; Mrs. S. O. Van Schoiack. Warden; Mrs. L. McCoy, conductor; Mrs. C. Peterson, chaplain; Mrs. R. Aw- brey, O.G.; Mrs. I. Morris, I.G.; Mrs. Clara Stevens, musician. About 100 attended.
