It is the hope of the Jamboree Committee that everyone had a good time and that the events that we added and maintained were successful in helping you have wonderful memories. Jamboree is a three day event that is made up of lots of little events. The challenge of a successful Jamboree is coordinating these events so that people can enjoy as many events as possible. Strolling on dirt trails and in open field areas may be part of the fun. 7:30 PM Meet at Dairy Creek Program Area Amphitheater Stargazing: Stories in the Night Sky Hear some tales the ancients told as they passed the evenings under the Milky Way. We’ll go over the basics for your star filled night at Stub Stewart– a prime location for stargazing. 7:00 PM Meet at the Dairy Creek Program Area Amphitheater Find a Bird On It! This is my second year as the Jamboree committee chairman, and I want everyone to know how hard some people have worked to insure that not only the people of Vernonia, but also those that visited were able to have great memories of wonderful times. I know that as I put down these names, I will miss some, but know that we appreciate all that you have done. continued on page 13 The Birk the old house of music “it’s not that far” JOIN THE TEAM! 503-901-1705 16720 Noakes Rd.
