LOCAL NEWS Mrs. Dora Harbaugh v.as in Medford I Friday... . ... . . COURT HOUSE Need cf Harmonious Action. Recently we said some thin s a I »out the squabbles between buslne— mon of certain towns, of the discord and the lack of harmony that prove so detri mental to all Interests of the place and assist along the mail order bouses and the box car mon. Never was there greater need of harmonious action on the part of the merchants of the land, says the Agricultural Southwest. Nev er as now should merchants of every class discover how closely intertwined are their interests with all the business Interests of the community where they reside. The Price Cui rent would see associations so perfected that at meet ings all farmers, laborers and every class uf workers could be present and just see what Is going on and leave with resolutions to pull hand in hand with the tradesmen for the building up of the town. Surely every one in a community should feel that any proj ect that Is for the building up of the place Is a thing that he Is individually interested in. This is the sentiment that means harmony and co-operation and not backbiting, throat cutting com petition and ill feeling, that are so det rimental to a towu. the home, along religiou in on. the progress of Chri 41» eign countries. 11 als > LIS kl” continued stories. “Ib a weekly magazine. “Vick’s Magazine” is a of progress, containing :t> p illustrated.
