Temperance people rejoice to note that there is a steady increase of tem perance members in the United States Congress, and are much gratified that Speaker Reid selected as chairman of the leading House Committees, that of Ways and Means, Representative Ding ley, of Maine; ami Representative Morse, another active temperanc advo cate, chairman of the Committee on Al coholic Liquor Traffic. And now, following the guiding star of Truth, an Indian presses to the front of temperance ranks.
