South Omaha, May 17. The Oma ha Packing Company's plant here was destroyed by fire early this morning and a loss of $1,250,000 in flicted. The flames spread to the plant of the Cudahy Packing Co. and a five-story building belonging to this concern, with a large amount of meat, waa also destroyed, the loss being probably $200,000.
