The people of Talent and vioinity were very pleasantly entertained on the 7th inst. by an entertainment given by our public school children tor the benefit of the public school organ fund, under the supervision ot the teachers, Misses Ueebe and Gowland, who are undoubtedly de serving of much credit for the anil ily they possess. While it is not necessary to give details, we would say that the Greek posings were of very impressive character and very pretty. Our people certainly appreciate the kindneas of Mr. Wat- eon, of Ashland, with his "Trip to the circus," and feel more than grateful to Mr. Cosb, of the Medford piano house, for courtesies Bbown ub. The selections rendered by Miss Ross and Prof. Itoffa were duly appreciated also AVe certainly know now to enjoy good rausio when we hear it and regret that we are unable to command the Knglisb language in a way by which we could show our appreciation mere.
