You have used all

dies but it does not
yield; it is too deep
seated. It may wear
itself out in time, but
it is more liable to
produce la grippe,
pneumonia or a seri
ous throat affection.
You need something
that will give you
strength and build
up the body.
SCOTT'S
EMULSION
will do this when everything
else fails. There is no doubt
about it. It nourishes,
strengthens, builds up and
makes the body strong and
healthy, not only to throw
off this hard cough, but to
fortify the system against
further attacks. If you are
run down or emaciated you
should certainly take this
nourishing food medicine.

Talent News Items.
The people of Talent and vioinity
were very pleasantly entertained on
the 7th inst. by an entertainment
given by our public school children
tor the benefit of the public school
organ fund, under the supervision
ot the teachers, Misses Ueebe and
Gowland, who are undoubtedly de
serving of much credit for the anil
ily they possess. While it is not
necessary to give details, we would
say that the Greek posings were of
very impressive character and
very pretty. Our people certainly
appreciate the kindneas of Mr. Wat-
eon, of Ashland, with his "Trip to
the circus," and feel more than
grateful to Mr. Cosb, of the Medford
piano house, for courtesies Bbown
ub. The selections rendered by
Miss Ross and Prof. Itoffa were
duly appreciated also AVe certainly
know now to enjoy good rausio
when we hear it and regret that we
are unable to command the Knglisb
language in a way by which we
could show our appreciation mere.
Our entertainment was also a suc
cess financially.
