This two-step process requires firing the pendant twice: on the first day we will create the background and foreground - fired in the glass kiln between classes - and on the second day we will incorporate the image and fire once more. There will be time during class to weave with help from the teaching artist and participants will need to work on their baskets at home between classes. Come learn about cheesescaping, a style of cheese plate design that combines food and floral elements to create a whimsical plate full of seasonal bounty. We’ll sip on a complimentary glass of wine while we talk about the basics of cheesescape design, then each participant will try their hand at an original composition to take home.
