Dichroic Fused Glass Pendants (Age 16+)

In this two-day class, create two dichroic fused glass pen-
dants that feature silhouette images - cutouts provided in
class. This two-step process requires firing the pendant
twice: on the first day we will create the background and
foreground - fired in the glass kiln between classes - and
on the second day we will incorporate the image and fire
once more. Your pieces will be ready for pick up 3 days
later. Each pendant will be a unique work of art made by

From Van Gogh to Kahlo, via diverse artists and art
forms, we will explore art history using the great and
the not-as-well-known artworks as inspiration to create
original work in various mediums. Clay, paint, fibers,
and recycled materials will all be explored through skill-
building, open-ended projects. A great introduction to

Personal Instruction Studio with Jan Clark (Age 15+)

Get one-on-one instruction on your art work. Jan will
help you solve problems in your work by coaching you
in composition, colors, and technique. She can walk you
through the beginning stages of painting or advise on
how to finish one. Mediums covered: oils, pastels, water-

Pine Needle Coil Basket Weaving (Age 16+)

Create a pine needle coil basket from start to finish in
this two-day class! Participants will learn how to start a
basket + basic stitching and finishing. There will be time
during class to weave with help from the teaching artist
and participants will need to work on their baskets at
home between classes. A fun and functional art form

Letter Writing Social (Age 16+)

The Letter Writing Social is for anyone who loves snail
mail, beautiful stationery, or writing letters by hand! Join
us to create one-of-a-kind mail while socializing in the
ACE Co-Op Gallery. Basic supplies for letter writing and
envelope decorating, as well as some writing prompts,
will be provided. There will be light refreshments, in-
cluding brewed tea from Union County’s own Teahouse.
Feel free to bring your own supplies and a list of cards
or letters you’ve been meaning to send! This month, we
invite you to work on holiday themed cards and check

Evergreen Wreath-Making & Holiday Open
House (All Ages)

Drop in for an hour or two to create your very own
wreath for the holiday season! We will teach you to make
an evergreen wreath from scratch to enjoy for weeks to
come. We’ll provide wreath-making supplies and ribbons
(Jean is a bow-making wiz). Feel free to bring any unique
flair to add to your wreath! Please pre-register if possible;

Cheesescaping (Age 21+)
December 14 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm
Want to improve your cheese plate game for the holi-
days? Come learn about cheesescaping, a style of cheese
plate design that combines food and floral elements to
create a whimsical plate full of seasonal bounty. We’ll sip
on a complimentary glass of wine while we talk about the
basics of cheesescape design, then each participant will
try their hand at an original composition to take home.
By the end of class your plate will look like it should be
hanging on an art museum wall. To ensure enough fresh
ingredients for everyone, registration is required 48
