TREND INDECISIVE IN STOCK MARKET NEW YORK, Jan. 6 W Stocks generally dulled In the shadows of conflicting budgetary opinions today and prices, aa a whole, were rather narrow and trading dull. Both extras and standards were up am both quoted at the same price, which suggested there was something wrong with either the grading or quotations. The fact that butterfat prices were not advanced along with the higher price on extra butter In dicated that the price lift for butter was more or less artificial. Market on eggs continued unsettled with practically all private firms fell ing extras at 20c and the local co-ops holding for 22c. Outsiders were con sidered responsible for the break. Gold Price Stays At Price of $34.06 WASHINGTON. Jan. 6 HI The government held Its domestic gold price steady today at 34.08 an ounce. This figure for newly mined metal was maintained despite some strengthening of the dollar on the London market after weakness wlich attended America's budgetary de velopments earlier this week.
