MERCURY UP TO 90 ABOVE HERE The mercury moved up to 90 above again yesterday, but did not reach the maximum of 92 chalked up Tues day afternoon, although' the ther mometer registered In the high 80s early in the day. This morning's minimum of 64 was eight degrees cooler than tho mini mum yesterday. The sky remained clear and there was no wind. Miss Rus sell and Miss Tlggelbeck are teach. era In the La Grande public schools Leave Hospital Several patients left the Orando Ronde hospital today, Mrs. Martha Williamson, mother of Mrs. John Nled erer, who underwent a major opera tion, returned, to her home. Ben Nelson also returned to the home of his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Ohrls Nel son In La arande after two weeks spent at the hospital recovering from a major ODeratlon. Miss Dorothy Fer ney, of Durkee, who is a cousin of Ben Nelson, left the hospital wnere she was a patient for eight days fol lowing a major operation. Here For Treatment Newell West, O.-W. R. and N. em ployee from Union, was in the Grande Rondo hospital for two days receiv ing medical attention. To Leave Hospital Mrs. Herbert Jasper expects to leave the Grande Ronde hospital this eve ning and return to tho home of her parents. Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Cleaver, with her baby daughter. The commission also granted a 3.2 per cent beer dispenser's license to W. O. Ayars. ONE OF TWIN BABIES BORN TOYORKSDIES Twin babies were born to Mr. and Mrs. Ellas L. York, of near Imbler, at the Grande Ronde hospital Wednes day. Both babies were girls, and one died, Wednesday morning.
