It was the third fatal accident within the last few weeks in and near this city, with four lives lost. They never can be completely eradicated but they pan be minimized to a great extent by continued vigilance ion the part of the driver, constant attention to his speed and IT WONT BE LONG Soon the cherry orchards, of the Grande Ronde valley will bo full of activity, and nearby packing sheds, will be hum ming with work and the annual flow of some of the finest cherries , the world produces will start to the market from this county. In the peak years, when markets were encouracinD- and yields were at the top, cherry orchardists over this, section were "sitting on lop of the world."
