STEWART (United Press Stuff Correspondent) Buenos Aires, Murch 5 (By mail) Trades unionists throughout South America today are extremely favorablo to the proposal by President Samuel Gompers of tho Amieriean- Federation of Labor for a Pan-American workers' combination. "We' agree in principle with Presi dent Gompers' suggestion," said Fran cisco Rosanoba, secretary general of the Federation of Labor of the Argen tine Region today, "and will work to accomplish the plan's realization. "To this ond wo are about to cor respond with the American Labor Fed eiation officials who oro pushing tho propaganda. If we could we would take a still more active port in the work, but this is impossible ut pres ent, owing to tho lack of funds. "We are enthusiastic in our support of tho idea. Wo have always wished for such a combination." The Federation includes all the Ar gentine labor organizations. It is un derstood that the leading members have already received intimations that the labor federations throughout iSouth America .will cooperate in the j movement. Ho gets up enrly in tho morning with a grouch nnd has to leave before it does. Consequently ho has no time to be decent to her in the morning. He arrives at tho office feeling fine; and hd continues to foci fine until long in tho afternoon, when his duties be gin to crab and fag him. By the time he gets home at night ho is disgrunt led for tho evening. Thus he hns no time to be decent to her in the even ing. . On Sunday he is too worn out with the work of tho week to do anything but cat nnd mope. The average man hns plenty of good disposition, but no time to practice it on his wife. Socks. Tho sock is another of life's myst eries. Whether it hns been a sock from the first, or started out to be a stocking and lost its nerve, no one knows. The only thing we're sure of is that it got half way up man's leg nnd stopped. And for no nppnrent reason. Tho sock's way to msin's knee was clear. Woman's stocking proves that.
