' Miss Madison is' called upon, in "The Chalice of Sorrow" to do some of tho most intonsely emotional act ing ever shown in the silent drama. She depicts a range of emotion that extends from the extreme of delight, ir. securing public acclaim in the suc cessful Vole of an opera singer, to the depths of despair to picture a wom an's battle against intrigue and vil lainy and then finally witness the crumbled heap of her heart's greatest Iovo lying dead, responselcss to her grief. The sharp contrast between joy and despair; the transition from happiness to unspeakable sorrow has been pic tured by Miss Madison in superb pan tomime. Her assisting players have each to interpret .roles that make for perfect entertainment, and they have been selected solely for their individ ual fitness to meet requirements. Be sides Mr. Nowell and Mr. Cummings, the work of John McDermott, Blanch White, Howard Crampton, Albert Mc Quarrie and Rhea Haines will disclose these pluyers as artists in the full sense of tho term. Bluobirds have been distinctive among feature photoplays for the ex cellence of the acting, the complete ness of tho production and the super ior direction that has been evidenced in these screen-plays already given to the public and there is assurance thnt "The Chalice of Sorrow" will maintain in every detail the remark ably fine standard Bluebirds have at tained. To be a Bluebird the play must be good; for if it is not a good play it cannot become a Bluebird. Finally I have arranged with one of the largest loaning companies (a company that has $85,000,000 loaned to the farmers of the West) for a real Rural Credit loan based on a 20-year amortized plan. 20 equal payments of but little more than current in terest pays off your entire debt. You pay no commissions, choose your own date of payment and pay at your own bank. You can pay any amount of your loan at any time- This plan figures you a saving of nearly 3 per cent over the usual farm loan made heretofore in this county.
