Aided by a story that serves his purposes well and direction equal ly strong in this respect, Collier has no difficulty in keeping the spectator amused through live reels of him con taining innumerable comical incidents. Mr. Collier is Jimmy Coghlan, who is no good. The title introducing Walter Edwards as Jimmy's valet states that Hawkins has the hardest job in the world, and when Jimmy comes home from the party that night one appreciates the truth of those words. With a rich uncle to supply mm witn money ior really gay par ties and a chronic thirst, Jimmy is no torious from one end of the city to tne other. ' In all he does Mr. Collier is funny, Jiis work registers and, looked at from all viewpoints, he is one of the most amusing good-for-nothings .one could desire, ihe business is remark ably good. She had never known a mother's love or love of any type for the mat ter of that. Her father had raised her a botanist, like himself, and she had traveled the world over . When this girl met a flirtatious young man who had spent his young life making love to every pretty girl who would listen to htm, their widely diverging natures awoke a strangely irresistible appeal. Turbulent nature then took a hand, lightning struck the flirtatious youth and the scientific maiden brought him back to life under the most unusual circumstances imatrin able. These points demonstrate only a few of the unusual elements that conspire to make "Little Eve Edgar ton" one of the classics of photoplay- ing an unusual subject among the remarkable series of Bluebirds that have become so popular with patrons of the Sherry theatre, where Ella Hall and Herbert Kawhnson will appear for the last time today in this picture play made from Eleanor H. Abbott's serial originally printed in Every body s Magazine. Eleanor Abbott is the author of "Molly Make-Believe." HIDDEN MONEY LOST INIFIRE 1J Huntington, Oct. 11. A fire which originated from some unknown cause, probably in the attic, entirely de stroyed a six room dwelling house about 8 o click Thursday evening. The house was occupied by Charles Ballew. Ballew of Arkansas, who is here on a visit, as an intending purchaser of a cattle ranch, were de stroyed. There was no insurance on the household goods and furniture which will probably total a loss of about $500. The fire consumed every thing so rapidly that all of the mem bers of the family, who were nearby doing chores, were unable to extin guish the flames nor to save any of their belongings. The residence was owned by C. II. Libby and located on his hog ranch about a mile from town. When You Take Cold.
