long held a conspicuous place amone

his purposes well and direction equal
ly strong in this respect, Collier has
no difficulty in keeping the spectator
amused through live reels of him con
taining innumerable comical incidents.
Mr. Collier is Jimmy Coghlan, who
is no good. The title introducing
Walter Edwards as Jimmy's valet
states that Hawkins has the hardest
job in the world, and when Jimmy
comes home from the party that night
one appreciates the truth of those
words. With a rich uncle to supply

torious from one end of the city to

LOST INIFIRE

Huntington, Oct. 11. A fire which
originated from some unknown cause,
probably in the attic, entirely de
stroyed a six room dwelling house
about 8 o click Thursday evening.
The house was occupied by Charles
Ballew. The household goods and
furniture, together with a suit case
which contained $4,225 in y currency
and valuable papers, belonging to his
fnther, J. F. Ballew of Arkansas, who
is here on a visit, as an intending
purchaser of a cattle ranch, were de
stroyed. There was no insurance on
the household goods and furniture
which will probably total a loss of
about $500. The fire consumed every
thing so rapidly that all of the mem
bers of the family, who were nearby
doing chores, were unable to extin
guish the flames nor to save any of
their belongings. The residence was
owned by C. II. Libby and located on
his hog ranch about a mile from town.
